Diary of Sakura: Finding Joy in a Beautiful Home

Afternoon: Enjoying the Beauty of Home

After a light breakfast of green tea and rice crackers, I spent some time in the living room, enjoying a good book. The sun was shining through the large windows, and the room felt warm and cozy. I’ve always taken pride in keeping my home neat and beautifully decorated. The delicate paper lanterns, the intricate calligraphy art on the walls, and the carefully chosen ceramics create a harmonious atmosphere.

By noon, I decided to tackle some cleaning tasks. There’s something incredibly satisfying about maintaining the beauty of my home. I started with the living room, dusting the shelves and polishing the wooden floors. The rhythmic movements and the fresh, clean scent of lemon polish always put me in a good mood.

Evening: Tidying Up the Bedroom

After a quick lunch of sushi and miso soup, I turned my attention to my bedroom. It’s my haven, a place where I can unwind and recharge. The room is decorated in soft pastels with touches of cherry blossom pink. My bed, with its fluffy pillows and cozy duvet, is the centerpiece, flanked by two elegant nightstands.

I began by changing the sheets, enjoying the feeling of fresh linen and the scent of lavender from my fabric spray. I organized my closet, folding clothes neatly and arranging them by color. There’s a special kind of joy in seeing everything in its place, looking tidy and inviting.

Next, I dusted the furniture and vacuumed the floor. I rearranged some of the items on my vanity, placing my favorite perfumes and jewelry in a more accessible spot. The final touch was adding a new bouquet of fresh flowers to the nightstand, bringing a bit of the garden’s beauty indoors.
